Granddaughter received Masters in Chem Engineering. First time on campus. Lovely campus, ceremonies were well orchestrated.

My first time here was for Akron revival night for compass north church and many other churches it was a great experience. Watching so many people from Akron show up and show support for Revival night was awesome to see.

The facility seemed run-down overall. Their bleachers were in disrepair, and the seating areas in general reeked of spilled beer and were full of litter. (Fans should be mindful of nearby trash receptacles.) Our first visit to the JAR led to a disappointment.

The place is huge! Was there recently for my sister's graduation, and I was impressed with the size of the place. It's very easy to find and the staff was very helpful!

I've been announcing Zips Volleyball for 10 years now. I did the game against my alma mater, the Ohio Bobcats, tonight and the energy was electric. Even though the Zips didn't win, they're doing great this season. The band was there and the crowd was going nuts the whole game. It's been a fantastic experience every season and the JAR is a great sports venue for Akron. More people should check it out. They've got a cutting edge video board and some of the best competition in collegiate athletics. It's just a great atmosphere all around.
